The yew tree is one of two planted in the mid 19th Century by Sir Thomas Dyke Acland. [1] The churchyard, at the northern end of the Conservation Area, contains yew trees planted by Sir Thomas Dyke Acland in 1860. [2] The tree is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2021. [3]
