Full Description

As part of the Exmoor Mires Project, South West Archaeology were contracted to undertake a non intrustive walkover survey of the proposed mire restoration area on Spooners. During which was found a 15 metre long stretch of possible hollow way or possible animal erosion. Two flat stones were seen at its southwest end. [1] The Historic Environment Officer for the Exmoor Mires Project undertook a non intrustive walkover survey of the proposed mire restoration area on Spooners, which included this site. Noted was a possible hollow way measuring 15 metres long. [2]
