Full Description

A linear building is shown parallel to the Higher Cheriton Farmhouse on the Brendon Tithe Map. [1] By the time the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map was surveyed, the building had a small extension built at its northern end on its eastern elevation, extending eastwards. The final portion of the southern end of the structure had been subdivided. This layout is repeated on the 2nd Edition map. [2,3] The modern MasterMap data shows that most of the building appears to have been demolished; however, the small subdivided section of it may still be extant at SS 7378 4669. [4]
