Full Description

Post-medieval sluices were recorded on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey mapping; the annotation read 'sluices'. This was recorded as two individual sluices on the 2nd Edition map, though their extact positions were not obvious from the mapping. No sluices were noted on the 3rd Edition map, but a sluice is present at this location on the 2014 MasterMap. [1-4]
