Full Description

A post-medieval quarry was visible on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map and annotated as 'old quarry', indicating it had fallen out of use prior to the survey. This was visible as earthworks on the 2nd Edition map, without accompanying annotation. But was not seen on the 2014 MasterMap. [1-3] A quarry is shown at SS8272648178 on an aerial photograph from 2017. [4]
