Full Description

An 'old quarry' was visible on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey mapping. This was no longer visible on the later 2014 MasterMap. As the quarry was annotated as 'old', it had fallen out of use prior to the 1st Edition mapping and was presumably last in use at some point during the 19th Century. [1-3]
