Full Description

The front elevation of… Bramdown... has a puzzling array of architectural detail to its windows and a date plaque reading ‘1629 as’ set low on the wall and presumably salvaged from an earlier building. To the rear are a number of converted service buildings that have unfortunately lost much of their character. Probably 19th Century with possible earlier origins and service buildings to rear. [1] The building appears on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [3]
