MEM22483 - Modern surface stone on Spooners (Non-antiquity)

As part of the Exmoor Mires Project, South West Archaeology were contracted to undertake a non intrustive walkover survey of the proposed mire restoration area on Spooners. A large recumbent, slabby stone was noted on the edge of a stream gully. A five pence piece was glued to its upper surface.
