Full Description

A well defined sub-circular platform, close to the track to the ford below Hoaroak Cottage. The platform measures 10.8 metres northwest-southeast by 9.3 metres northeast-southwest and is defined on the east by a scarp cut into the hillside 1 metre deep, on the south by a scarp up to 1.5 metres high, and on the north by a bank 1.5 metres wide and 0.5 metres high. This is a platform for a Bronze Age round house and forms part of a larger Bronze Age settlement on the west side of Cheriton Ridge. [1]
