Three quarries are marked as 'Quarry' on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. The southern quarry appears to have a building marked within it. [1] Three quarries are marked as 'Old Quarry' on the 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2] Only two of the quarries are marked as 'Quarry (disused)' on modern mapping. [3]
