MEM15631 - Subrectangular mound on Cloutsham Ball (Monument)

Type and Period (1)
A mound at an elevation of approximately 200 metres above Ordnance Datum on the northfacing slopes of Cloutsham Ball. The mound is subrectangular in shape, approximately 5 paces long and 3 paces wide and up to 0.5 metres high. The date and function of the mound are unknown but it may be associated with charcoal burning activity in this area.
