Full Description
A charcoal burning platform in Culbone Wood, approximately 550 metres to the north of Broomstreet Farm. The elliptical platform is circa 7 metres long and 5 metres wide. The rear of the platform is almost vertical with outcropping rock and cut into the hillslope by about 1.3 metres. The front, downslope edge is also very steep and upstanding to a height of circa 1 metre. Generally in good condition. [1]
