Summary
An earthwork platform on the north facing slopes of Culbone Wood is probably the remains of a charcoal burning platform. The date of the earthwork is uncertain.

Full Description
A charcoal burning platform in Culbone Wood, approximately 650 metres to the north of Broomstreet Farm. The irregularly shaped platform is circa 10 metres long and 6 metres wide. The rear of the platform is cut into the hillslope by about 0.8 metres and the front, downslope edge is eroded but stil upstanding to a height of circa 0.7 metres. [1]
