A revetted earthwork platform in Embelle Wood is probably the remains of a charcoal burning platform. The date of the earthwork is uncertain.

Full Description

A charcoal burning platform to the western end of Embelle Wood. It is visible as an earthwork platform 5 metres long by 4 metres wide with a steep rear edge circa 0.6 metres high. [1]
