Full Description
An earthwork platform in Embelle Wood is probably the remains of a charcoal burning platform, of uncertain though probably medieval to post-medieval date. The platform measures circa 8 metres long and 5 wide, orientated east to west. The front and rear edges of the platform have slumped although the front edge still survives to a height of approximately 1 metre. [1]
