Full Description

A possible charcoal burning platform is recorded as an earthwork platform in Culbone Wood, at circa SS 8363 4853, on the steep northwest facing slopes of Silcombe. The platform is circa 6 metres long and 3.5 metres wide, cut into the hillside by up to 1 metre at the rear. The front edge of the earthwork has slumped. [1]
