Full Description

An earthwork scoop identified during field survey of Dibble Wood may be the remains of a quarry or prospecting pit. It is located adjacent to a possibly associated trackway. The earthwork remains were identified during field survey of Dibble Wood, part of a broader survey of eight woodlands on the eastern slopes of the Barle Valley. [1]
