MEM15509 - Medieval or post-medieval trackway in Mounsey Wood (Monument)

Type and Period (1)
A track to Mounsey Castle (MSO9316), recorded during field survey of Mounsey Wood.  The trackway is shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. It leaves a larger track at SS88632975, heading south / southwest and entering the monument at SS 8860 2964 before circuiting the inside of the feature.  The route of the trackway external to the castle is marked on 2018 MasterMap data.
