Full Description

A trackway is visible as an earthwork running through Little Comfort Wood. The track runs upslope in a roughly northeast to southwest direction for approximately 208 metres, from a point northeast of the cut in the hedgebank made by the current track at the northen end of the woodland. This is marked on the 2009 Ordnance Survey MasterMap. [1, 2] This feature is not visible on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, indicating it had fallen out of use by the time of the survey. [3]
