Full Description

A small body sherd of uncertain date, recovered during archaeological monitoring of Porlock Bay and Marsh. The sherd was identified and recovered from the upper levels of a cliff composed of solifluction deposits above Porlock Beach, i.e deposits composed of former surface deposits subject to movement in periglacial conditions due to freeze/thaw action.
