Full Description

Two shallow depressions in an area of rough pasture which may represent quarry pits for the construction of the 19th Century enclosure banks. [1] The depressions were unaffected by groundworks for the pipeline but some of the more waterlogged ground in the vicinity was levelled with hardcore. [2]
