Full Description

A 'Quarry' was marked on the Ordance Survey 6 inch 1903/1938 map. [1] An unmarked site was shown on Ordanance Survey 6 inch 1962 map. [2] This was not visible on the earlier 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. An area of remaining earthworks are depicted on the later 2014 MasterMap, but the site is not annotated. [3, 4]
