Full Description
The site is shown as a clear area next to a routeway on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [1] A quarry is depicted and shown on the 6 inch 1906 2nd Edition map and the 6 inch 1973 map. [2,3] Three disused quarries, possibly dug for roads. Quarry 'A' is sited at SS 8095 3072. [4] The quarry is depicted but not labelled on 2018 MasterMap data. [5]
