Full Description

Rockley Quarry is a large feature depicted on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [1] The quarry is also similarly shown on the 25 inch 2nd Edition map. [2] The quarry is on the six inch 1963 Ordnance Survey map. [3] The quarry is not shown on the Tithe Map for High Bray, suggesting that it was not in use at this time. The land use at this time is listed as Pasture. [4] The area of the quarry is shown on the 2020 MasterMap as a separate area within Rockley Copse. [5]
