A footbridge is marked on historic mapping. It may or may not be the one shown on current (2013) mapping but a ford was also marked at this site on maps dating from 1962.

Full Description
The 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps and the 1903 6 inch map show a footbridge at this location. [1-3] The 1962 map shows a footbridge is present at the site (possibly the same structure) but a ford is also marked. [4] A ford and footbridge are currently shown at the site. [5]
