Full Description

An earthwork in two parts is shown on the six inch 1905 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map. [1] The feature is also shown on the six inch 1962 map. [2] Only the southern part of the earthwork is shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, suggesting that the feature was expanded at the end of the 20th Century. It may have been a quarry. [3,4]
