Full Description

Remains of three former field boundaries which may be remnants of a medieval strip field system to the west of East Challacombe Lane and shown on the 1843 Combe Martin Tithe Map. The broad low banks at SS 5901 4744 and SS 5904 4748 are 1.5 to 2 metres wide by 0.3 metres high and the large scarp at SS 5903 4751 running 70 metres from east to west is 1.5 to 2.5 metres wide by 1 to 1.5 metres high.
