'Ford' shown on the six inch 1905 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map, adjacent to a footbridge (MDE20602). [1] No sign of a ford on the 1962 map. [2] The ford is also depicted and labelled on the 25 inch 1st Edition map. [3]
