Full Description
A quarry is depicted and labelled on the six inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [1] The feature is again labelled on the six inch 2nd Edition map. [2] The quarry is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946-8. [3] The six inch 1962 map labels the site "Old Quarry". [4] The site is labelled "Car Park" on 2021 MasterMap data. [5]
