Full Description

Robert Ballment's plan of Rowley Down dated 1797 shows "Henny" on boundary of land attached to Little Rowley.[1] This may be a boundary stone or possibly a barrow. Ballment's plan is not clear. Also on parish boundary. [2] This location is named "Raymers Bars" on the Tithe Map for Challacombe. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
