Summary

A white stone is noted on a map of the area dating from 1797. It is situated on the parish boundary and may be a boundary stone. It is not clear if the stone is still extant.

Full Description

Robert Ballment's plan of Rowley Down dated 1797 shows ? "white stone" on boundary of land attached to Little Rowley. Also on parish boundary. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
