MDE20373 - Post-medieval stone gatepost west of Furzehill Common (Monument)

Summary

A stone gatepost about 1.6 metres high and 0.6 metres wide was noted on a site visit in 1980. The stone now functions as gatepost in the enclosure hedgebank, but may originally have been a marker on the track to Roborough from Hoar Oak.

Full Description

A stone gatepost, about 1.6 metres high and 0.6 metres wide, was noted on a site visit in 1980. The stone now functions as gatepost in the enclosure hedgebank, but may originally have been a marker on the track to Roborough from Hoar Oak. [1]
