Full Description

Grinsell noted a bowl barrow (his number 7a) in this location with a diameter of five paces and a height 305.0mm. [1] A visit by the Ordnance Survey in 1974 noted that numerous mounds similar to this one are of solid peat and appear to be natural. [2] It is not clear whether this record should be incorporated with MDE1287 and if the latter discusses this site. [3]
