MDE20243 - Possible Bronze Age barrow at Little Melcombe (Monument)

A barrow was noted in this location by Chanter and Worth in 1905; however, the barrow was not located during a field visit in 1973.

Full Description
The site of barrow and two standing stones (see MDE1202), on Little Melcombe, Bray Common. To the south of the southwestern stone is a small barrow, with a diameter of 2.7 metres. [1] No trace of the barrow was noted during a field visit in 1973. The site is in an area of partially reclaimed moorland. [2]
