Summary

A Bronze Age burial cairn is visible as a circular stony mound, 6.6 metres in diameter and 0.6 metres high. A slight hollow at its centre appears to be modern.

Full Description

Centred at SS 77164452 is a prehistoric cairn. It consists of a circular, turf-covered stony mound 6.6 metres in diameter and 0.6 metres high. It is slightly obscured by bracken, grass and heather. A slight hollowing of the centre of the mound appears to be modern. Found during field reconnaissance and surveyed at 1:2500 scale. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
