Full Description

SS 8426 3030. A group of two charcoal burning platforms in Lyshwell Wood noted during field survey. The first comprises a subcircular platform measuring 5.3 metres in diameter, the second a circular platform 7.5 metres in diameter defined by earthern scarps with some edge set stone rubble defining upslope edge. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
