Full Description
Prehistoric barrow on the spine of Moorhouse Ridge is visible as a low heather, turf and braken-covered circular stoney mound, 15.8 metres in diameter and 0.3 metres high. The barrow has been overploughed by ridge and furrow and has also been robbed. This series of disturbance has made the monument's profile less discernable. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
