Summary

A small rectangular enclosure was visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947. No trace of any features could be found during field investigation in 1994.

Full Description

SS 7215 4653. Low banks forming a small rectangular enclosure seen by McDonnell on aerial photographs northeast of Sparhanger Cross. [1,2] SS 7215 4653. The area is on gentle southwest facing slopes under pasture. No trace of any features was identified. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
