Full Description

Inkerman Bridge. A rectangular enclosure, 12.2 by 11.6 metres. Traces of bank and ditch and possibly a guard room. [1] SS 678 487. Inkerman Bridge is a small stone bridge carrying a track over the Hanging Water stream, at SS 6777 4866. No trace was seen of this enclosure. The area comprises steeply wooded slopes with scrub and bracken. The steepness makes it an unlikely site for an enclosure location.
