Site Event/Activity record EEM14891 - 2020: WS - Horcombe

A walkover survey was undertaken by the Historic Environment Officer for the MIRES Partnership of an area at Horcombe in August 2020; however, no new archaeological features were noted. After a misty start visibility improved to become good. Much of the area was well grazed so there was no issue of vegetation obscuring any features. A few mounds and possible excavations were examined but all proved to be natural in origin: geological features, landslips or animal/water erosion.
