Description
A watching brief was undertaken during excavation for sewer outfall pipe across the beach at lynmouth bay. 575m trench, 1.5m wide, 1.5m deep, ran northwest to southeast to the east of river mouth, from screening plant and tidal release tank, to a point below the lowest tides. Points beyond 380m along its length not observed, as they were situated below lowest tidal fall. The results were negative.
