Site Event/Activity record EEM14063 - 2012: TS - Stone setting on Hoccombe Hill

Technique(s)

Organisation

University of Bristol

Date

June/July 2012

Description

The site was surveyed in Summer 2012. The stones and any associated erosion hollows were measured, the condition and stability of each stone was analysed and photographs taken. All four stones were seen; stone B was loose and was also being covered by an ant hill and stone D was still loose, possibly as a result of animal rubbing. An animal track runs through the site and it appears to be very vulnerable.
