The mill complex at Cowbridge included a disused corn mill and a 20th Century sawmill, together with a 20th Century forge and garage. A disused overshot wheel is still visible, which at one stage was used to generate electricity. Part of Knowle Estate. Converted to house and sawmill in 1904. Forge constructed 1933 but since demolished. Part of industrial group. The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List.
