SS9127 DULVERTON CP OLDBERRY LANE (South side) 15182 Rose Cottage - - II Cottage. Possibly C18 enlarged C19 with C20 outshots. Roughcast over rubble, nipped thatched roofs, very steep pitch to rear range, large stone stack below, possibly gable end of original block. L-plan set into hillside single cell facing east, outshot on north side, 2-ceil range at rear with outshot on west front, entrance in south-west corner. Two storeys, 1:1 bays, right eyebrow dormer to 2-light leaded oriel window, first floor left unlit; ground floor right plank door, left hooded porch set in angle with plank door, right return small early C19 leaded 3-light window in rear range, ground floor left masked by triple Roman tiled outshot, C20 fenestration here and to right. A very picturesque thatched cottage set into hillside overlooking Dulverton. (Photograph in NMR). Listing NGR: SS9109127882
