Full Description
Centred SS 8825 2995: New Close, Land parcel 265. [1] A flint flake picked up in the Barle Valley, in a field called 'New Close', just north of Mounsey Castle was donated to Somerset County Museum, Taunton by Mr C H Abbot in 1941-2. [2,3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
