Ridge and furrow fields and associated field banks in fields east of Withiel Farm, visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947. They are probably of medieval date.

Full Description

Ridge and furrow fields and associated field banks, probably of medieval date, in fields to the east of Withiel Farm. These features are visible on vertical aerial photographs and are located on either side of a small stream valley at SS 9867 3389 and SS 9995 3385. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
