Full Description

The estate saw mill at Knowle was built in 1828. It had an overshot wheel, measuring 10 feet by 3 feet. It is pond fed, and the wheel pit is extant. Saw milling equipment was transferred to Cowbridge (MSO8324). [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
