Full Description

SS 745 388. A cairn ? on Ricksy Ball (no details given); found 31 April 1990. [1] SS 745 388 Ricksy Ball is an eastwards projecting hillspur overlooking the River Barle southwest of Cornham Farm. The area is covered in waist high rough grass and reeds and is scattered with boulders. The site given is a suitable position for a cairn but none was located during perambulation. [2,3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
