MSO11271 - North Newland Farm, Exford (Monument)

Farm and building shown on tithe map north of South Newland Farm, now called Newland. It is no longer extant. [1,2] The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map shows the enclosed areas of the farm still appear to be extant but the buildings are no longer depicted. [3] The area is still shown as small enclosures on the six inch map from 1962. [4] The area has now been built over with more recent farm buildings. [5] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [6]
