MSO10460 - Possible post-medieval spoil heap northeast of Pinkworthy Farm (Monument)

Summary

A grass covered mound has been interpreted as a possible spoil heap resulting from a break in the Pinkworthy Canal, although this is not clear.

Full Description

Grass covered mound approximately 4 metres long, 3 metres wide and 0.2 metres high. Approximately 12 metres northeast of a small break in the Pinkworthy Canal (MSO6847). Possibly a small spoil mound from the break in the canal, although it appears similar to MSO10124 and MSO10126. Situated in one of the small rectangular shaped field north by east of Pinkworthy Farm.
